Banana almond porridge

Creamy oat porridge with banana, almonds and a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 60 g rolled oats
  • 250 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 15 g almonds, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Method

  1. 1Add the oats and almond milk to a small pot and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. 2Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring often, until the porridge thickens.
  3. 3Slice half the banana into the pot and stir it through for the last minute.
  4. 4Pour into a bowl and top with the remaining sliced banana, chopped almonds and cinnamon.
  5. 5Drizzle with maple syrup and serve warm.
