Greek salad with halloumi

Classic Greek salad topped with pan-fried halloumi.

Ingredients

  • 80 g halloumi, sliced
  • 80 g cucumber, chopped
  • 80 g tomato, chopped
  • 20 g red onion, sliced
  • 20 g black olives
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano

Method

  1. 1Combine the cucumber, tomato, onion and olives in a bowl.
  2. 2Dress with olive oil and oregano and toss.
  3. 3Fry the halloumi slices in a dry hot pan for 1–2 minutes per side until golden.
  4. 4Lay the halloumi over the salad and serve straight away.
