Steak and avocado salad

Seared steak over greens with avocado — low carb.

Ingredients

  • 140 g sirloin steak
  • 60 g mixed salad leaves
  • 0.5 avocado, sliced
  • 50 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. 1Season the steak and sear in a hot pan for 3 minutes per side for medium.
  2. 2Rest the steak for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  3. 3Arrange the leaves, avocado and tomatoes on a plate.
  4. 4Top with the steak, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
