Chocolate protein mug cake

A one-minute microwave mug cake with cocoa and protein.

Ingredients

  • 30 g chocolate protein powder
  • 20 g oat flour
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 90 ml milk
  • 1 small egg

Method

  1. 1In a large mug, mix the protein powder, oat flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  2. 2Whisk in the egg and milk until smooth with no dry pockets.
  3. 3Microwave on full power for 60–80 seconds until risen and just set.
  4. 4Let it cool for a minute before eating — it firms up as it rests.
