Calcium and bone mineral density

A systematic review and meta-analysis found that increasing dietary calcium raised bone mineral density by 0.6–1.0% at the total hip and total body at one year, and 0.7–1.8% at various sites by two years. These are small numbers, and the authors say so plainly.
