Whole grains and weight: no effect
A meta-analysis of randomised studies found no effect of whole grains on body weight: weighted difference 0.06 kg, p=0.45. A small effect was seen for body fat percentage. This is not an argument against whole grains — weight loss is simply not the outcome to expect from them.
